About the Company: 

Cactus Varied Industries is a millwright and fabrication company located in Amarillo, TX.  A division of Cactus Feeders, Cactus Varied Industries offers a variety of millwright and fabrication services.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual to estimate and project manage millwright work including industrial equipment installations, welding and rigging.

Millwright Project Manager Job Duties:

• Develop customer relationships and work with customer to ensure job success
• Estimating
• Working with internal crews and subcontractors
• Ensure safety protocols are being followed on job sites
• Scheduling millwrights and subcontractors for jobs
• Develop work priority schedules and communicate to customer
• Track job scope and change orders

Millwright Project Manager Skills and Qualifications:

• Computer literate in variety of program software: excel, word, outlook.  Experience working AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor and Building Information Modeling a plus

• Experience in all aspects of millwright work including metal fabrication, rigging and feedmill and grain elevator equipment installation
• Excellent blue print reading skills
• Effective communication, listening, leadership, conflict resolution skills
• Must operate independently with critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience required in feed mill and grain elevator design and construction, project management, on-site installation of millwright projects, job site and construction safety
• Salary level based on experience and skill set
