About the Position: 

The Mill Maintenance crew is responsible for daily observation and inspection of machinery to ensure that all equipment is running effectively to obtain maximum production levels. 

Responsibilities: 

• Inspect machinery daily 
• Observe and follow the computer system to detect maintenance tasks needed 
• Assist crew with daily mill housekeeping items, cleaning and organizing work areas 
• Comply with safety practices, procedures, and mandatory regulations such as EPA, FDA, and OSHA 
• Ensure that the feedmill is operating optimally
• Secure purchase order approval for maintenance and repairs of feedmill parts 
• Other duties as assigned 

Requirements: 

• Mechanical knowledge 
• Experience with heavy operating equipment 
• Team Player 
• Communicate effectively with team and Mill Manager 
• General Understanding of boilers and electrical systems 
• Must be able to walk and stand for an extended time 
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
