Originally founded by the Engler Family in 1975, today we operate 15 Feedyards and Outside Cattle Locations producing over a million head of fed cattle annually. Job Description:

Cactus Feedyard is seeking a Tractor Operator to join our team. The Tractor Operator is responsible for operating a large model tractor to support the operation of pen cleaning and onsite maintenance projects.

About the Position:

• Operate large tractors
• Maintain and follow all Cactus Operating and OSHA Safety Guidelines
• Assist the mill and maintenance crew to complete assigned tasks as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Able to work in a team environment and able to execute self-directed assignments with little supervision
• Able to work in elevated areas, in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), climb stairs/ladders, sit, and stand for extended periods
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• Display strong communication skills (oral)

Qualifications

• High school, GED, or completion of Technical or Trade School certificate (Preferred, but not required)
• 1-2 years of Heavy Equipment and/or Tractor Operation (preferred, but willing to train)
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
